The video, shared by the media wing of the PAF, uses animation and dramatic AI-generated visuals to depict an extraordinary sequence of events during the May 2025 hostilities. Titled “Fizaon ke Pasban”, the video portrays the Pakistani Air Force carrying out a series of claimed operations, including jamming satellites, crippling fuel supplies and disrupting the national power grid.
The animation also depicts strikes on key facilities, including Parliament, Gujarat’s Kandla Port and INS Vikrant.
One graphic prominently declares “32 IAF bases hit”. It is accompanied by claims that four Rafales, one Sukhoi 30MKI, one MiG-29, one Mirage 2000 and one Heron drone were destroyed.
However, the video does not provide photographs or satellite imagery showing runway or hangar damage. Despite the scale of the claims, the PAF has not released before-and-after photographs to substantiate the alleged destruction at the 32 Indian Air Force bases.
If 32 IAF bases were indeed hit, the resulting damage would be difficult to conceal. Yet, Pakistan has not released any before-and-after photographs of such destruction to date.
The PAF video also revisits one of Pakistan’s most prominent claims — that it destroyed S-400 defence systems. The latest video presents the claim through AI-generated visuals.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Adampur Air Force Station just days after the conflict and stood in front of an intact S-400 system while addressing the personnel.
The PAF video comes weeks after Discovery released a two-part documentary on Operation Sindoor. Titled “Declassified: Operation Sindoor”, the documentary provides first-hand accounts from military officials involved in the operation.
The documentary also showcased never-before-seen footage of the operation and the destruction inflicted on Pakistani military infrastructure.
The claims in the PAF video have also drawn strong reactions online. Journalist Abhijit Majumder wrote on X, “Comedy Gold! AI credits loaned from Turkey and Saudi.”
Another political commentator, posting from the account Bala, said, “Actual footage of what they supposedly destroyed in India: 404 NOT FOUND. Not one real clip. Not one verifiable visual.”
Another post mocked Pakistan’s use of AI, saying, “At this point, Pakistan doesn't need a defence budget. Just give them an AI video generator and let them win the war on YouTube.”
The latest video follows a pattern in which Pakistan has repeatedly presented claims of having inflicted extensive damage on Indian military assets and aircraft since Operation Sindoor.
While the PAF video contains explosions, dramatic graphics and sweeping claims of military success, it provides no actual footage of the destruction it claims to have caused. The contrast with the evidence released by India after Operation Sindoor has therefore become a central point of scrutiny surrounding Pakistan’s latest narrative.
